One of the most talked about new series, Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., debuts tonight on ABC at 8:00 pm ET. Based on elements of the Marvel Comics universe, the series will focus on the covert group known as S.H.I.E.L.D. (Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division) who handle strange cases, including those involving superhuman activity. Clark Gregg leads the cast as Agent Coulson, who was allegedly killed in Marvel's The Avengers movie last year. The series also stars Ming-Na Wen, Brett Dalton, Chloe Bennett, Iain De Caestecker and Elizabeth Henstridge. Expect guest appearance from superheroes and villains, as well as references to the ever expanding Marvel Universe.
