In the hope of capitalizing on the amazingly popular (and profitable) The Avengers movie, a ten disc Blu-ray box set, featuring six movies, is being readied for a September 25 release. The box set will include the films Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America: The First Avenger, The Incredible Hulk and, of course, Marvel's The Avengers. If that is not enough, a bonus disc entitled "The Phase One Archives" will also be included. The "Marvel Cinematic Universe - Phase One: Avengers Assembled" set is rumored to be priced at over $200. Regardless of the cost, I suspect this will be a best seller, considering the overwhelmingly positive reaction over the assorted Avengers films over the past several years. Besides, what fanboy could resist the packaging!
