Capt. Raydor (Mary McDonnell) and the team at Major Crimes are back for a second season of drama, comedy and, of course, murder cases. Tonight's second season premiere finds the team investigating the murder of a pregnant wife of a selfish and apparently clueless film director. Meanwhile, a new Deputy District Attorney, Emma Rios (Nadine Velazquez), clashes with Raydor over Rusty (Graham Patrick Martin), who is the key witness in the Phillip Stroh murder trial. Rusty's secret life may be exposed during the trial should he reveal exactly what he was doing in the wooded area where Stroh's most recent murder was allegedly committed. If the truth comes to light, Rusty fears straining his relationship with Raydor and her team. The performances from McDonnell and Martin are top notch in this episode.
