"Archer" and "The Big Bang Theory" Among the Winners of The Critics' Choice Television Awards

The critics acknowledged several worthy series at The Critics' Choice Television Awards during a ceremony held last evening. Among the multiple winners were Breaking Bad, the HBO television movie Behind the Candelabra, and The Big Bang Theory, which picked up the award for Comedy Series. I was particularly pleased with the nod to Archer (pictured above) for Animated Series. Maybe next year, it will receive its due as Comedy Series, too. I was also pleased with the love for American Horror Story, which won two awards; Supporting Actor in a Movie or Miniseries (Zachary Quinto) and Supporting Actress in a Movie or Miniseries (Sarah Paulson). However, I think Jessica Lange deserved to win for her amazing work in the series, too.
