TNT's new Dallas series will feature more familiar faces during the upcoming second season, which begins in January. Ted Shackelford and Joan Van Ark will reprise their roles, as Gary and Val Ewing, who originated on Dallas and went on to star in the phenomenally successful spin-off series Knots Landing (one of my all-time favorite television shows) in the late 1970's. Since Dallas has been successfully revived, I wonder if that same magic could work for Knots Landing? I would love to see Karen, Mac, Greg, Abby, Paige and the rest of the gang join Gary and Val for another spin around the cul-de-sac.
